IS INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION : USAID Program Management Assistant (Position is open to all Burkina nationals and those eligible for permanent residence and authorization to work in Burkina Faso.

USAID Program Management Assistant - FSN/08
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION :
The incumbent is responsible for managing and coordinating all USAID-related administrative operations in the Burkina Faso Country Office, including filing and document management, procurement, coordination of personnel matters, implementation of administrative policies and procedures, arranging logistics for meetings and conferences, and property inventory management.
The incumbent also works closely with the Country Representative, the Development Assistance Specialist, and Technical Team Leaders in the performance of program management tasks not limited to but including activity performance monitoring, tracking fiscal year budgets, and collating performance and contextual data in support of the Country Office’s work. The incumbent is directly supervised by the USAID Representative.
S/he supervises the USAID driver. S/he interacts regularly with Embassy Ouagadougou Financial Management, General Services, and procurement staff and with USAID Senegal’s Executive, Program, and Financial Management Offices. S/he is also a point of contact for USAID implementing partners, Government of Burkina Faso representatives, other donor, and NGO contacts.
The job may be expected to perform work-related travel.
